10 year old Rebecca was selected to be our Featured Artist after seeing her creative use of mixed-media; a signature style that is the foundation of her impressive art. Clearly her use of watercolors and pastels is brilliant, but what stood out to the Artkive team was the way Rebecca would incorporate paper cut-outs or 3D elements to complete some of her compositions.
The use of these items intermittently would give her portraits depth and dimension. When creating a keepsake book of kids art - elements like these help the artwork jump off the pages!
